Experience a day filled with rejuvenating activities tailored to uplift your spirits and invigorate your body. Our itinerary includes gentle Yoga and fluid movement practices designed to boost energy levels and enhance blood circulation through the body. You'll also engage in guided meditation and pranayama sessions, to calm the mind amidst the chaos of daily life.
We’ll immerse ourselves in nature with a leisurely stroll through the forest above Leaf & Ground, culminating in a state of blissful tranquility. Finally, surrender to the restorative power of Yoga Nidra, sealing the day with deep relaxation and inner peace.
Throughout the day we’ll enjoy nourishing food and refreshments, providing sustenance for both body and soul.
Embarking on your first retreat can feel both exciting and a bit daunting, that's perfectly normal! And actually a day retreat is the perfect way to get a taste of what a longer, residential retreat might feel like.
I have carefully crafted a schedule which will give you a glimpse into the enriching experiences I have planned for you. While the timings are fluid to accommodate the natural flow of our day, this outline will provide you with a sense of the journey ahead.
Arrive 9.45am for 10am start
10am
You’ll begin your journey with a welcome refreshment upon arrival and an opening circle to ground yourself in the space and connect with fellow participants
10.30am - 12pm
Engage in a revitalising blend of Yoga Synergy and restorative practice, awakening your senses and energising your being.
Lunch 12.15pm - 1.15pm
Enjoy a selection of delicious, nourishing, vegetarian dishes courtesy of the restaurant at Leaf & Ground. Replenishing your body with wholesome goodness.
1.30pm - 2.30pm
Gather by the lake for a refreshing guided meditation, pranayama (breath work), and gentle movement practices - derived from Yoga Synergy & the Himalayan Institute of Yoga & Meditation to help lubricate the joints and drain lymphatic fluid.
Conclude with a gentle walking meditation and a relaxed forest stroll.
3pm - 4pm
Return to our starting point for a guided Yoga Nidra session, soothing your nervous system and inducing deep relaxation. We’ll close with a sharing circle and a refreshing smoothie, leaving you in a space of ultimate contentment.
